Eiji hadn't been in the country for very long. In fact, he had every intention of dropping by Cous Coussier first but he ran a bit too late and didn't feel comfortable sliding into the restaurant after it had already closed. It was fine, really. It wasn't like he didn't already sleep under the stars most of the time, anyway.

The cop pulling around surprised him, though. He got up, tilting his head curiously until he saw just who got out. His grin widened from ear to ear as strode over to meet him.

"Detective! Ah, I'm going to have to plead you go easy on me, I've just arrived from out of the country, after all."
